Juicing is fun!

Normally we buy Kroger brand "%100 apple juice" which is still full of a ton of sugar and some concentrate. It is actually better than most juices out there and I also dilute it like crazy when I give it to my children. I feel like they aren't getting much nutrients out of it at all! I have had a juicer for a little over two years and we don't use it as much as I would like to in the winter but when the summer comes we use it a ton! When I juice fresh veggies and fruits I usually pour it in popsicle trays and make yummy summer popsicles and Mayci has always enjoyed them!! I found this cute little container at Kroger and thought why not make our own "apple" juice or "fruit/veggie" juice for that matter and save it to drink throughout the week!?

Usually when we juiced it was just enough for the day. Now I can put it in this cute container and give it to them throughout the week! Not to mention juicing is so good for us! Juicing offers many life-enhancing health benefits including a faster more efficient way to absorb immune boosting nutrients naturally found in fruits and vegetables. It provides a way to access digestive enzymes typically locked away in the fiber matrix of whole fruits and vegetables!

We juiced a mixture of things we already had in our fridge this time! We juiced Organic Carrots, Organic Apples, a couple of Pears, and lastly threw in some left over strawberries we picked from a local strawberry patch!

My daughter is not a fan of most veggies. (Believe me I have tried everything) Especially carrots! This has been such a wonderful way to get the nutrients of the carrots in her little system! And a fun way, too! She really really enjoys helping me make it! She likes to put all of the veggies in and hold the plastic piece down, and let me turn it on and watch the juice flow. She seriously thinks its the coolest thing ever!

She's such a goof ball, she told me she was making carrot mustaches. My little "class clown"!

Those sweet little tippy toesies! My little "big" helper. She begs me almost everyday to make juice now, haha!! (And aren't these little shorts the CUTEST?! These organic cotton bunny shorts are handmade by Little Stars Handmade! We love all of her handmade stuff!! They are so soft too!! You can follow her on instagram or like her page on Facebook!)

Hope we have inspired you to make your own juice, too! There are SO many combinations you can try! We are determined to try a new one every week! What are your favorites?! I would love to hear suggestions if you have a favorite!

Hope everyone has a blessed day!
